Adopt Me: Gracie is a high energy, playful puppy

Gracie is a little timid at first, but she loves a good butt scratch or belly rub

BradfordToday, in partnership with the Alliston & District Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

She had a great holiday with her foster family but it's time for her to start her own adventure!

Meet Gracie! She is about 16 weeks old. Maybe she's a chihuahua/shepherd mix...

Below is a little bit about her from her foster mom:

Gracie is a high energy, super playful pup!

She is a little clumsy and loves running and jumping into the couch cushions at full speed!

She is a little timid at first and definitely doesn’t like to be disturbed by strangers while she’s sleeping but will warm up quickly if you have toys or treats!

She’s not super cuddly (mostly due to the fact she's always playing), but she loves a good butt scratch or belly rub when she starts to calm down.

She does well going outside to go to the bathroom but does have the odd accident by the back door.

I own a chihuahua mix and Gracie is absolutely smitten. She loves to play with him all day, either running around outside or playing tug-of-war in the house, or sleeping with him at night! She is a very smart and mischievous little pup!

She loves to dig into the sheets of your bed and bury her toys in there for later. Her favourite are squeaky toys, and she loves to run after a ball!

She is a very quick learner (especially if there is another dog to show her what to do) and she is picking up on ‘Sit!’ very quickly and already knows her name!

She has been a great little pupper to have in our home, she has caused lots of laughs and fun for my little guy, and I know she will be a great addition to any home!
