Adopt Me: Lucy wants a shot at the good life

This Anatolian shepherd/Great Dane mix is so funny when she gets frisky and playful — and she loves a good snuggle

BradfordToday, in partnership with the Alliston & District Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Meet Lucy!

We’ve had Lucy in our care for some time now. Well, guess what? She is sooooo ready to bust out of here!

Lucy came to us as a stray — super thin and lactating. She had horrible, infected sores on her ears. She was so sad. But during her time with us she’s been eating (a lot!), her ears healed, she was spayed so she doesn’t have to make anymore puppies, and she has just been loved up all over!

She’s a three- to 3 ½-year-old Anatolian shepherd/Great Dane mix. She’s a big girl and quite humorous when she gets frisky and playful (and then she naps).

She loves all people so far but she truly needs a home with no other animals. She despises all dogs. It’s really her only quirk!

She now walks well on a leash and you really can’t resist a good snuggle with her! We just love her!
Lucy really wants a shot at the good life everyone’s talking about!

If you have no other dogs and you feel Charm can have all of your love and attention, please contact Alliston & District Humane Society for more information at 705-458-9038 or [email protected].
