ONTARIO: Highway 17 flagman entertains with dance (video)

One traveller said she enjoyed being entertained while stopped on the highway.

TERRACE BAY, Ont. — On almost any list of boring jobs, "flag person" would likely appear in the top ten.

One worker assigned to a road project on the north shore of Lake Superior has found a unique way to deal with the monotony of his task.

Motorists travelling on Highway 17 between Terrace Bay and Nipigon on Monday were entertained by the flagman controlling traffic at the work site.

A traveller from Thunder Bay recorded part of his dance routine while she waited for the signal to proceed, saying the performance "made my day."
