Bradford mother, Julie Anne Lingan was discharged from Southlake Regional Health Centre today after being admitted a month ago for COVID-19.

Southlake Regional Health Centre's Instagram account featured a live video of hospital staff lined up escorting Lingan out of the hospital, celebrating and cheering for her recovery.

Friends of Lingan posted screenshots of the video to the Bradford Mammas Facebook page, and comments of support and excitement have been flooding in.

"Amazing, God bless her and Southlake workers," read one comment.

"This is amazing and truly a blessing. May God bless her today and always," read another.

Lingan was admitted to the hospital on March 17 after experiencing symptoms of a fever and shortness of breathe, and later testing positive for the virus. Later that week, her husband Mark was also diagnosed. Their twins tested negative for the virus and were looked after by their aunt while the parents recovered.
