Shoppers Drug Mart and Zehrs have announced the first hour of operation will be designated for seniors and those living with disabilities.
All grocery stores and pharmacies remain open, and are encouraging shoppers to practice social distancing.
Most banks and financial institutions remain open.
Cafes and restaurants have been ordered closed to dine-in customers by the province of Ontario, but may remain open for takeout and delivery.
