Residents of the Elden celebrated in style after receiving their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The residents took part in a red-carpet gala celebration on Feb. 23, after having received their second dose of the vaccine on Feb 19.
In addition to the red carpet, residents were treated to some 'shooters', syringes filled with Jello.
"We couldn't resist!" said Sales and Marketing Manager for The Elden Jaime Robertson.
Over 90 percent of the residents at The Elden received their second dose on Feb. 19. and the others have received their first dose.
"This is higher than the average for retirement residences in the area. We were so pleased with the positive response," said Robertson.
