On April 1, 2021 the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) announced the launch of the Every Dollar Doubled Campaign, made possible by a generous matching gift of up to $250,000 from The Morningview Foundation. We are excited to announce, that due to overwhelming generosity from the community, the results exceeded the goal.

"We are so pleased with the heartwarming response from our community to support the Stevenson Memorial Hospital, that The Morningview Foundation has decided to match every dollar that was donated. Therefore, we shall match the entire $315,313.20, rather than our initial commitment of $250,000 thereby raising a total of over $600,000,” says John and Margaret Roth, Founders of The Morningview Foundation.

With The Morningview Foundation matching donations dollar-for-dollar and the community’s support, over $600,000 has been raised to support enhanced infrastructure, equipment and technology, providing Stevenson Memorial Hospital health care professionals with the tools and space they need to continue providing quality care close to home.

The SMHF Board of Directors and staff express a heartfelt thank you to all the individuals, families and companies who rose to the challenge and had their gift doubled.

“With the matching gift from The Morningview Foundation, our community has doubled the impact of their donations,” says Melody McLean, Interim Executive Director, SMHF.

Over the years, The Morningview Foundation has been a dedicated supporter of the SMHF, and their gifts have improved nearly every department at SMH, including the Medical-Surgical Unit, the Diagnostic Imaging Department, the Surgical Suite and beyond. With the Every Dollar Doubled Campaign this spring, they have continued their legacy of creating significant impact on our local Hospital.
