Do you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccines? Are you ready for some straight answers?

We'll get the answers to a wide range of questions, including: How do mRNA vaccines work? Will your cells or DNA be affected? They were developed so quickly, how safe are they? Are these vaccines like the ones we get for the flu? How effective are they as new mutations develop? Are they safe for kids? How long does the protection last?

Tomorrow, Village Media is speaking with one of Southlake Regional Health Centre's experts on the vaccine.

Dr. Charmaine van Schaik is also welcoming your questions.

Write your questions in the comment section below, or send an email to reporter Alan S. Hale at [email protected] and he'll ask Dr. van Schaik questions on your behalf.

Please keep in mind, questions regarding the provincial and regional vaccine distribution plans or the province’s prioritization framework are better asked of public health experts.
