Baseball scores: Home runs for each player in exciting Bradford Minor Baseball game

Bradford Today, in partnership with the Bradford Minor Baseball Association, brings you a regular feature highlighting local baseball scores.

All games took place last week. 

Mite Softball

Bradford Home Hardware had a great team victory over the Jets, 14-6.

Great pitching and team defence from Home Hardware were keys to the win, along with great hitting from Emma and Claire. Keep up the great work!

Squirt Softball

State Farm worked hard in their 13-19 loss against Selectronics.

Special mention goes to State Farm’s Trinity and Erin for their hard hitting, and to Liam and Erin for following through on a play to get a great out at second base.

Bantam Softball

Royalty Stone beat EG 15-5. Spectacular pitching by Jackson M., who only allowed one run during three innings.

Teaghan M. went four for four at-bat, and Jace W. had a triple.

Jr. Rookie Hardball

Chris Davies Remax played well in the field but couldn’t hold off Home Hardware in a 14-5 loss. Remax’s Emmett had his first double of the season!

Sr. Rookie Hardball

Ryan's Landscaping beat Maria Chiodo RMT 21-4.

Special mention to RMT’s David M. who drove in two runs in the fifth inning to start their four-run inning, and great defensive play by Bradley F. and Adam D.

For Ryan’s Landscaping, Colby smacked out a double in the second inning. Two double plays by Jordan at shortstop, assisted by Conner at first and Conner at second all on his own!

MFC Landscaping won 6-3 over Team Green.

Austin P. opened the scoring with a two-run single to left centre.

Sandro G. was a perfect three for three at the plate. William F., in his first baseball game ever, managed a single that scored a run.
Bellamy Sports came up one run short in a 13-14 match up against Ryan’s Landscaping. Ryan’s Landscaping fought to the finish in this game.

Great defensive plays by Liam, who tagged for an out at third, and a great throw to second from the pitcher for an important out!

Jordan made a great out as catcher — missed the pop fly but didn’t give up on the play and got an out at home plate!

The team picked it up in the third inning with a lead-off double by Charlie, followed by a triple by Conner and topped off with a double by Joshua!

Maria Chiodo RMT and Team Green tied with a final score of 8-8.

Great defensive play by Team RMT as they battled back after going down early 3-0.

Special mention to David M. who made two key plays at second base in the third inning. Fantastic hitting by both Evan B. and Hayden B.

Mosquito Hardball

In an exciting rematch between Carron Farms and IMBA 1, Bradford emerged with a resounding 20-12 victory in which every player crossed the plate at least once for a home run!

Excellent relief pitching by William D. helped seal the win!

Collwest contracting lost 2-10 against IMBA 2.

Bantam Hardball

Bradford tied their match-up against Mansfield 9-9. And then bounced into high gear the following night and took a huge 17-6 win against Tottenham.
