Baseball scores: Strikeouts secure Bradford victory over Collingwood in minor baseball

All games took place between June 24-30.

Junior Rookie Hardball

Bradford's Chris Davies Remax held on for an 8-7 win over IMBA Team 2.

Jason F. hammered out his first triple of the season, and Cole M. hit two doubles.

Eli S. truly shined with his first double and two amazing outs in the third to save the game!

Senior Rookie Hardball

A&W High Voltage and Ryan’s Landscaping battled out a one-run game until the fourth inning!

Great defensive plays by both teams, but Ryan’s Landscaping’s bats came alive for the 14-5 win.

Special mention to Jacob, who made a fantastic play at second base for an out!

Conner charged a ball at third and made an awesome throw to Colby at first for another great out!

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Ben made a great stop at pitcher and turned the throw to Colby at first for an important out.

Bradford's Team Dark Green beat IMBA No. 2 11-4. Special mention to Ben L., who hit a triple and Brooke M., who hit a double.

Maria Chiodo RMT took down IMBA team No. 4 10-9.

Despite falling behind by one run going into the bottom of the fifth inning, RMT responded with two runs to win the game.

Special mention to Landon O., Evan B., and Michael L., who got on base. It all came down to Hayden B., who drove in the winning run.

Mosquito Hardball

Collwest Contracting took a big 18-5 win over IMBA No. 1.

Bantam Hardball

Bradford edged out a 15-13 win over Collingwood. Bradford's big hit came from their call up Seth P. in the bottom of the second with a long ball over the fielders’ heads!

Great pitching by Jack M. once he started to dominate the strike zone and threw a few much-needed strikeouts to secure the win.

Mite Softball

Bradford Home Hardware played a close game against East Gwillimbury Thirty One, tying 7-7.

Nicholas Y. was excellent in his pitching debut, and Nathan and Nicholas J. teamed up for several great defensive plays. Great game!

Squirt Softball

Walk-off win for State Farm in a 13-12 game against EG No. 2!

The team played well and a special mention to Mathew F. for his best game this season with some fantastic plays at second base. Way to go, Matthew!

Peewee Softball

Bradford Team No. 1 faced off against Bradford Team No. 2 and walked away with a 19-10 win.
