Kumi Canada did a fantastic job of executing on defence in a 6-1 win over Bradford Academy of Music. Everyone covered their bases and backed up their teammates on every play. Evan made two great catches to secure outs a first base. Jordan stood her ground at third base to make an out on a hard grounder. And Nathan continued his strong defence by getting an out at second base. Well done, team!

Under-12

Dissette Animal Hospital edged out their EG competition 9-8 in a great game! Dissette had an amazing third inning when Halyn caught a pop fly, made the tag at second base and threw to Dillon at third base for a triple play. Terrific batting by Desmond and Zachary and pitching by Gregory and Shelby. Way to go Green for a third win in a row; they're ready for the playoffs!

Under-20

Bradford Navy Blue experienced a tough loss against WSSA Stouffville Toyota, losing 24-4.

Under-9

The Rookie Select team went into their final game of the regular season against Markham thinking it would be an easy win, but they found themselves down by 10 runs heading into the bottom of the final inning. That’s when the bats came alive and the Storm scored 11 runs for the win! The Rookies finish their regular season 15-1 and are seeded #1 heading into their division's playdowns this coming weekend.

Bradford is hosting the rookie finals at Joe Magani Park from Friday Aug. 9th to Sunday, Aug. 11, where the home team will look to secure their spot in the provincial finals!

Carron Farms took down Innisfil #2 15-0. Great defensive plays by Logan, Ryer, Harrison and our call-up Anthony. Great hitting from the entire team!  Logan hit a home run, driving in three, Anthony, Harrison Jake, Ryer, Alex added blistering doubles! Tyler, Hayden, and Dylan with clutch singles and RBI’s. Great game Carron Farms!

Ryan’s Landscaping couldn’t hold off IMBA in a tough 14-13 loss, but they certainly played hard. The team had five call ups from 7U due to team injuries and vacations so a huge thank you to them. Anthony and Benjamin R were a great team at pitcher and first base for back to back outs.

Under-11

Team Many Hands, Doing Good faced off against Anatolia Tile & Stone in what was the last game of the regular season. These two teams had clearly focused much of their practice time on pitching as this game turned into quite the pitcher's duel.

William anchored the Many Hands, Doing Good squad throwing hard for nearly two innings, but was relieved by Riley who shut down the second inning and went on to pitch a three up three down fourth, striking out all three batters.

Despite a grand slam by one of the players on Anatolia Stone, Team Many Hands, Doing Good showed a strong defence with Adam R. making a great catch at short stop and Adam D. setting up a great relay to get the ball to the infield quickly. A great team effort led to another win for Many Hands, Doing Good, keeping spirits soaring as they head into the playoffs.
