Beaver Scouts, Seniors and cookies come together at the Elden (5 photos)

Another inter-generational activity at The Elden of Bradford retirement residence

Beavers are the youngest Scouts, ages six to eight.

Residents at The Elden of Bradford include some of the town’s most senior citizens.

On Wednesday night, First Bradford Beavers and residents of The Elden came together for an evening of fun, making Christmas decorations and decorating cookies.

It was just one in a series of inter-generational activities at The Elden, involving kids in Scouting – an opportunity for the senior residents to interact with the children, help color the decorations and share their cookie-decorating skills, using chocolate icing, sprinkles, gummies, and candy canes.

The Beavers and residents created edible art that everyone could enjoy, and proved that there’s no age limit on having fun.
