On Tuesday March 2, the Bradford Board of Trade (BBT) will be hosting a virtual recovery forum featuring local dignitaries speaking on the supports available to local businesses as the pandemic approaches its one-year anniversary.

"The Bradford Board of Trade is hearing from our members today that they are frustrated by the announcement that Simcoe-Muskoka will once again be moving back into a COVID-19 lockdown on Monday. For so many BWG business owners – and the families they support – this move brings with it more financial implications and uncertainty. Our Board of Directors, business owners themselves, want to re-iterate our commitment to you of support throughout the pandemic," read a statement from BBT President Tina Martins-Morrison.

Join representatives from the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury including Mayor Rob Keffer, MPP Caroline Mulroney and MP Scot Davidson at 8 a.m. tomorrow to join in the discussion on economic recovery.

Register at the link below to submit a question for the speakers or watch live through the BBT's Facebook page and YouTube channel.

"It is important that all businesses know about the grant and support programs that are offered through the provincial and federal governments and our partners at Nottawasaga Futures," said Martins-Morrison.

"I encourage small business owners to reach out to the BBT, Nottawasaga Futures or the MPP and MP's constituency offices for help. Please, if you are able, shop local and continue to support local restaurants."
