The Bradford Bulldogs were at Zehrs on Sunday to raise money and collect donations for the Helping Hand Food Bank.

There were four teams ranging in age of six to 10, taking turns throughout the day greeting grocery store customers and collecting food items. This is the group’s second year hosting the food drive.

“The community gives a lot to these kids, they are very generous with sponsorships, so we are trying very hard to give back,” said Bradford Bulldog mom, Amy Lyn who has two sons who play in the league.

Next week, the Minor Atom team will head to the food bank to deliver their goods and help stock the shelves.
