Bradford Bulldogs stock the shelves at Helping Hand Foodbank (7 photos)

Bradford Bulldogs minor midget team stopped by the Bradford food bank on Saturday to stock shelves with the items they had collected at their annual picture day

The Bradford Bulldogs minor midget team stopped by the Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank on Saturday afternoon to help sort and stock food items collected throughout the day at the league's annual picture day event.

Every year, the Bradford Bulldogs host their picture day at the Bradford Community Centre and ask all families to bring in non-perishable food items to donate to the local food bank.

It is tradition that after the all the photos are taken that the team gathers all the donations and brings them to the food bank to help sort and stock.

The team usually stays for about two hours to go through and sort all the items.

This year the team of 17 players split up into two groups, with one group sorting the items and the rest stocking onto the shelves.

Players were able to give back to the community, while bonding with their teammates.
