NEW PATH YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES

Until the end of September, the Bradford Rona store on 90 Dissette St., is collecting donations in support of New Path Youth and Family Services (New Path), a local child and youth mental health agency, through the Heroes Campaign. As part of this campaign Lowe’s Canada will be matching contributions of up to $2,000.
“This really is wonderful recognition of the incredible work that our staff have been doing throughout this pandemic,” says Elizabeth McKeeman, CEO of New Path Youth and Family Services. “Our frontline staff have been working non-stop with ever-increasing demand for child and youth mental health services. They really are heroes and we truly appreciate Rona Bradford’s recognition of this work.”
In addition to collecting donations, the store is offering additional prizes. For every $10 donation, names will be put into a draw for a $100 gift card and for donations of more than $20 names are entered into a draw for an Austin Matthews jersey from the Toronto Maple Leafs. There is also a community BBQ planned for Sept. 24 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Bradford Rona location.
“When searching for a charity to partner with for the Heroes Campaign, we came across New Path and discovered what they offered the community. It was a simple choice!” says John Jenne, outside sales associate at Bradford RONA. “As we have all navigated the highs and lows of this pandemic, children have been affected quite substantially and have often suffered in silence, so the services that New Path offer are invaluable! We are proud to support New Path and hope we can help raise awareness for this tremendous organization in the community."
