Bradford students turn up the heat at track and field

Despite the heat, the athletes ran, jumped and threw their hardest.

Holy Trinity Catholic High School hosted the track and field event for Catholic elementary schools in the area on June 15.

Hundreds of young athletes from Grade 5 to Grade 8 attended from eight elementary schools in Bradford West Gwillimbury and New Tecumseth, including representatives of St. Marie of the Incarnation, St. Charles and St. Angela Merici Catholic schools in Bradford, Father F.X. O'Reilly and St. James Catholic schools in Tottenham, and Monsignor J.E. Ronan Catholic School in Beeton, and St. Paul's and Holy Family Catholic schools in Alliston.

Despite the heat, the athletes ran, jumped and threw their hardest, competing for standings in their age groups.
