Celebrate National Seniors Day with outdoor brunch at the Danube Leisure Centre

All guests must register in advance

On Friday, Oct.1, 2021, the Danube Seniors Leisure Centre will be hosting their annual free outdoor pancake brunch at 715 Simcoe Road to celebrate National Seniors Day with local seniors and their caregivers. 

The event is being held in partnership with Bradford’s CHATS, Holland Gardens, The Elden, all organizations that cater primarily to seniors, who have combined their efforts to organize this public event.

The breakfast will have three sittings – 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. – and guests must pre-register by calling the Danube Centre at 905-775-0612 or emailing

Live entertainment will be provided at the event compliments of duo-act “Side by Side”. There will also be door prizes.

All COVID protocols will be in place so that all guests can safely socialize in tables of four. Seating is limited and pre-registration is encouraged to secure your table – anyone not registered will be turned away. 

As per new government regulations, COVID screening and proof of double vaccination will be required.
Please note, in the event it rains the brunch will be modified to a drive-through event instead.
