On Curbside Treasure Hunt Days, BWG residents are invited to place unwanted, gently used items at the curb for other residents to take for their own use, free of charge. This is a great opportunity to give unwanted items a new life while keeping them out of landfill!
Participants must clearly label items with a "free" sign, and we ask everyone to please not take anything that is not labelled.
Scrap metal collectors are asked to limit treasure hunting to after 2 p.m. on Sunday and take items whole and as-is. Making garbage out of re-usable items is contrary to the intent of this event so we appreciate cooperation in ensuring that materials stay out of landfill.
