Is your birthday coming up?

Eye Candy Ads in Bradford wants to share a Happy Birthday picture message along its digital billboard on Bridge Street.

Owner Mark Snaper says it's a great way to spread positivity in these trying times.

And the best part about it? It's free.

Earlier this summer, Eye Candy Ads invited kids to submit pictures and drawings to broadcast on the billboard, which he says was a great success.

"After how successful the drawing contest was, I thought it would be great to highlight some people in Bradford and give the young and old a chance to see themselves on the big screen," he said.

The birthday ads are for kids aged 5-13, and seniors 80+.

Snaper acknowledges it's difficult financial times for many, and admits business for him has also slowed down.

"Business has slowed down like many others but I am happy to be serving 18 local businesses and services and help the thousands that I can reach with information pertaining to them," he said.

Since the start of the pandemic, Snaper has been advocating for local businesses, even collaborating with a few local ones to put on contests to keep the community engaged and involved.

"I have also started to help local businesses and services in Bradford by adding links to all of their websites through my own," he said.

Anyone looking to spread a little cheer with a birthday photo and message must send an email to [email protected] seven days in advance of the birthday.

The birthday picture will appear during the day of your birthday from 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.  There is a maximum number of three requests per day filled on a first come first serve basis.

"We look forward to sharing your celebration with us!"
