February is a busy month at the Bradford Legion Branch 521 - full of activities designed to fight to winter blahs.

On Feb. 29, the community is invited to laugh away the blues at a 19+ comedy night at the Legion, 115 Back St. in Bradford. Greg Enwright, Ernie Vicente, Daniel Shaw and Nour Hadidi will provide an evening of laughs, only $25 per person. Includes a cash Bar, light snacks and plenty of laughter.

The evening is a fundraiser for the 37 Bradford ‘Orville Hand’ Air Cadet Squadron, Bradford’s new Air Cadet Squadron sponsored by the Legion. Tickets are available online or at the Legion. Starts at 7 p.m.

There’s also the annual Frank Lotto Memorial Dart Tournament coming up on Saturday, Feb. 22, 115 Back St. The Legion welcomes all dart players for Blind Draw Doubles and a chance to win the trophy and prizes.

Registration takes place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with an 11 a.m. start for play. Sandwiches and a lunch of chili and hot dogs are available for purchase. This event is licensed. Entry is only $10 per person.

This year, the tournament is also a fundraiser for the Air Cadets.

Add to that the Friday night social dinners – a hot dinner and fellowship for only $10 every Friday at the Legion starting at 6 p.m. – and a Karaoke night on Feb. 21, from 8 p.m. to midnight, and there's no reason to let winter get you down.
