Friday Night Social Dinners are back at the Bradford Legion – although they could be called Friday Night ‘Social Distancing’ Dinners. The Legion is taking every precaution, during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The doors are open, but diners are asked to use hand sanitizer, and either sit outside on the patio, or at tables indoors where social distancing of 2 metres can be maintained.

The dinners are still a great way for Legion members and the community to come together in a social setting – safely – and enjoy a great meal for only $10 per person.

This Friday, August 7, the menu offers chicken or beef kabobs on rice, with Greek salad, and Blueberry cake and ice cream for dessert.

In fact, the Legion has planned the menus for the rest of August, and the first Friday in September:

. Aug. 14 – Pineapple steak on a bed of rice, with Pineapple pudding and ice cream for dessert.

. Aug. 21 – Famous Butter Chicken, Turnip casserole, roasted veggies, with ice cream Sundaes for dessert.

. Aug. 28 – Roast pork, mashed potatoes, diced carrots, green beans. Dessert is Blueberry cake with ice cream.

. Sept. 4 – Sunshine chicken salad, cheese biscuits, and Strawberry Cake for dessert.

The community is welcome to come out and enjoy dinner at the Legion club house. The Bradford Legion is located at 115 Back Street. For more information, click here or call 905-775-5025.
