The Bond Head & District Lions Club is hosting their annual Electronic Waste Collection on May 5, and it needs your help.

People can drop off all used and unwanted electronics, such as computers, cellphones and toaster ovens, at the Bond Head Community Memorial Hall on County Road 27, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and they will be safely recycled. The proceeds will support the Lions’ many community projects.

The event will not accept refrigerators.

The Lions and a group of local volunteers will also be conducting a food drive for the Helping Hand Food Bank on Saturday, going door to door in Bond Head to collect donations of non-perishable food. Food donations can also be dropped off at Bond Head Community Memorial Hall.
