Southlake Foundation is thrilled to announce that the 2019 Southlake Golf Tournament, presented by AirBoss raised $276,675 in support of the most urgently-needed tools and equipment at Southlake Regional Health Centre.

“As one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, this golf tournament has a tremendous impact on staff and patients at Southlake,” says Susan Mullin, President and CEO of Southlake Foundation.

“Many people don’t realize that government funding doesn’t cover the cost of most new or replacement equipment, from the basics like beds and stretchers to highly-advanced and specialized surgical tools. Our communities came together to ensure our physicians and clinicians have the tools they need to offer the best possible care, close to home.”

The annual golf tournament took place once again at the world-renowned Beacon Hall Golf Club in Aurora, ranked among Canada’s top ten golf courses. Just over 200 golfers took over the course on June 10, playing in support of their local hospital and leading edge care close to home for their family, friends, and neighbours.

One of three signature events hosted by Southlake Foundation, funds raised through participation, sponsorship, and generous support of the live and silent auctions at this golf tournament are vital to ensuring the expert clinical teams at Southlake have the right tools and equipment in hand to provide the best possible care and patient outcomes, right here close to home.

The 2020 Southlake Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, June 8. For more information or to learn about sponsorship opportunities, visit southlakefoundation.ca/participate/golf-tournament.
