It's Halloween weekend and there are plenty of activities going on for the whole family to get involved in!
Friday, Oct. 29
Bradford Legion Social Dinner
115 Back St., Bradford.
6 p.m. dinner of Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, carrots, corn, and fresh bread. Strawberry angel cake for dessert. Followed by karaoke at 8 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 30
Cookstown Boonanza
Drop by downtown Cookstown between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to meet the merchants of the Victorian-era village, and go trick-or-treating for free treats.
Maps of participating businesses will be made available at the Cookstown Chamber of Commerce office at 19 Queen St. Free pumpkins will lined up along the planters on Queen Street to take home.
Adults are invited to join in a Boonanza Witch Hunt, for prizes. Pick up a witch hunt card at the chamber office, then go from store to store to collect stickers from the participating merchants, to be entered into a free draw for great donated prizes. The prize draw takes place at 1:30 p.m.
Spooktacular

Visit local participating businesses in Alcona for some goodies. Halloween costume contest at Johnny Burger and Miss Jennies.
Haunted Harbour Masquerade

$49 per person. Beach Club at Friday Harbour will transform into Haunted Harbour with a DJ, live music, costume contest, and more. Prizes for best dressed, costume contest, including a grand prize of a $500 gift card for Friday Harbour. 19+ event.
Sunday, Oct. 31
Belle Ewart Legion Potluck and Costume Contest
1017 Robinson St., Belle Ewart
The Lefroy Belle-Ewart Legion is holding a Halloween Potluck and Costume Contest, from 1-4 p.m. Food should be Halloween-themed (Hot as Hell Chili, Devilled Eggs, etc.). There will be prizes for best Men’s and Women’s costumes.
Trick or Treating at the Elden
3131 8th Line, Bradford.
This will be an outdoor event with all safety protocols in effect. We will have a number of Spoooooky candy stations set up and lots of fun decorations. We hope to see you there in costume!
Monday, Nov. 1
Pumpkin Walk at Innisfil Beach Park
Bring your leftover jack-o-lanterns to the beach between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and place them along the path to let them shine one last time.
The walk will officially commence at 5:30 p.m. and last until 8:30 p.m. Afterwards, the pumpkins will be collected and delivered by trailer to Wilson Creek Farms, owned by Gail and Donny Crowder.

Check out the scary houses all over town with the Innisfil Halloween House Decorating Contest and Tour, and the Town of Bradford Halloween House Decorating Contest

Tanger Outlet Mall near Cookstown is offering free Halloween photos and trick or treat bags to go, on Oct. 30 and 31 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Scary Pergola near Entrance 2 (inside).
Gilford Haunted Mansion
2008 Gilford Rd.
Come experience the spooky scenery set up by Innisfil resident Benny Dunsmoor and family. Open nightly starting at 7 p.m. $2 per person, with part of the proceeds going to charity. Food item donations are also being collected for the Innisfil Food Bank.
400 Flea Market Trick or Treating
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Indoor trick or treating all weekend long with more than 40 vendors participating. Halloween contest for kids 12 and under. Halloween crafts with the author of "Kita and the Magic Paint". Free Halloween photobooth.
