INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police Service is teaming up with community partners Sobeys Alcona and the Innisifl Food Bank for a Summer Food Drive.
On Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. we will be accepting food donations at the Sobeys Alcona located at Jans Blvd. and Innisfil Beach Road in Innisfil.
The 'wish list' for donations includes canned soup, canned pasta, Kraft Dinner, pasta sauce, pancake mix and syrup, canned tuna/salmon, juice, school snacks, cereal, crackers and cookies.
If you can't make it tomorrow, donations are always accepted at the Innisfil Community Church located at 1571 Innisfil Beach Rd. during regular business hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday.
The food bank shelves are depleted and the need is great. Start the long weekend by thinking of others and help replenish supplies to feed our less fortunate neighbours.
