Bradford's Louise Batista was honoured with the cover story in Top Agent Magazine as one of the best real estate agents in Ontario.

Bradford West Gwillimbury real estate agent Louise Batista was recently featured on the cover story of Top Agent Magazine, a premier real estate magazine that features the best real estate agents and mortgage professionals in Canada, the USA and Europe.

After recently earning Top 1.11 per cent of Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (by transactions 2021) and the Double Centurion award in 2021, she was recognized with the honour.

After years of hard work in Simcoe County, Batista has earned the prestigious title of being one of the best real estate agents in Ontario.

“I’m incredibly grateful,” she said. “My team and I work very hard, and the business is 24/7. We’re here to serve and we’re grateful for the recognition because my team works so incredibly hard. They deserve all the recognition.”

Batista got her real estate license in November 2010 and quickly took off earning both Rookie of the Year and Century 21 Centurion awards in 2011. She credits her success to her passion for the job.

“It’s been the love of my life... it’s my favourite thing to do,” she explained.

When she first got started, she was knocking on doors every day and didn’t get her first listing for three months, but that never stopped her.

“Tenacity is what built everything, the knocking on doors and all of the events,” she said.

As a resident of Bradford since 2000, it’s been special for Batista and her team to find the success they have in the community they love so dearly; 80 per cent of the team’s business comes from repeat and referral clients.

“We’re such a part of the fabric of the community,” she said. “I’ve been here 23 years, many of our agents have been here for years, and one has been here her whole life. It’s so beautiful to be connected to your community. A lot of the people in the community have become like my family. Clients from 12 years ago, their children have been raised and I know them. It’s beautiful to see.”

Everyone that works with Batista has a deep connection to her and the Bradford community, which has been key to the success they’ve found and the reason they work hard to give back.

“Bradford built me,” she said. “I’m so grateful to my community that I have the opportunities, the business, and the life that I have and my children have, and now I’m able to give back. We want to help at every local fundraiser event and we sponsor as much as we can. That’s the most important thing, the collaboration and community. Community over everything.”

As a mother of four daughters, Batista strives to be an example for them while also using her talents to put other women in positions to succeed.

“I believe it’s incredibly imperative that we reach back to the women that come after us,” she said. “It’s so important, I believe my job is to make it easier for the women that come after me.”

Batista’s brand “List With Louise” is a registered trademark and she’s a member of both the Toronto and Barrie Real Estate Boards. She and her team prioritize social media, and can be found on Facebook here and Instagram here.
