Innisfil lowers flags to honour former roads employee of 49 years

A celebration of life for Harry Squibb will be held Saturday in Alliston

The Town of Innisfil is flying its flags at half-staff to honour the memory of Harry Squibb, a former roads department employee who worked with the town for 49 years. 

Mr. Squibb died Dec. 8, 2019, at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston. He was 91.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday at the Drury Funeral Centre, 519 Victoria St. E., Alliston, from 1-4 p.m. with family memories shared at 1:30 p.m.

In a news release issued today, Innisfil Mayor Lynn Dollin, town councillors and staff send their heartfelt condolences to the Squibb family and thanked him for his years of service to the town.
