INNISFIL - A 77-year-old Innisfil man has died in hospital as a result of injuries suffered in a collision.

On Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 around 6 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to the intersection of 14th Line and 10th Sideroad for a two-vehicle collision that resulted in a rollover.

Four people were transported to a local hospital.

Two were subsequently airlifted to Toronto hospitals and the others were treated locally and released.

The deceased man was a passenger in one of the vehicles. He passed away on Dec. 2, 2018.

The investigation is continuing.

Speed, seat belt use and stop sign compliance are among factors being examined as possible causes.
