INNISFIL - Friday Harbour Resort is kicking off summer this Victoria Day Weekend, May 18 to 20, with the “Start ‘Em Up Long-Weekend Launch."
The Barrie Thunder Classics and the Innisfil Beach Cruisers will be stationed at Friday Harbour on Saturday and Sunday showing off all of their classic cars from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A variety of family-friendly activities will take place throughout the weekend, including kids’ mini circuit cars, a K’Nex car building challenge and majestic horse-drawn wagon rides. Warming campfires on the pier will keep everyone cozy in the evenings, while a free shuttle service will whisk guests around the resort with ease.
A stellar lineup of performers will be set up at our Pier stage including Chris Chambers, Boots & Hearts artist Kelsi Mayne, Jeff Eager who has shared the stage with Lenny Kravitz, and the Lisa Hutchinson Band.
Food trucks will be serving up delicious offerings all weekend long. Sample souped-up tater tots from Get Your Own Taters, get delicious eats from Food Cabbie, feast on a classic Beaver Tail and cool down with some Dairy Best Ice Cream.
For a delicious dinner, make a reservation at Fishbone Kitchen + Wine Bar or grab a meal from the Beach Club Window or enjoy the harbour views and try a featured house-smoked delight and cocktail from the Pier Bar.
On Saturday at 9 p.m. a spectacular fireworks display will light up the sky over the Marina with prime viewing spots at the Pier, Boardwalk and Beach.
The Nest Golf Club, Friday Harbour’s semi-private golf club will host vendors including Titleist, Cobra and TaylorMade, who will be on site demonstrating some of their newest clubs and gear to all players with a tee time.
The LCBO and ADM Design will open their doors on the boardwalk to get the summer started off right!
This event is free to attend and open to all. Friday Harbour Resort is located at 25th Side Road on 13th Line.
