Love games? Kids invited to Hub-O-Rama at Bradford drop-in centre

Hub-O-Rama is an evening of games, competition and prizes

The Hub Youth Drop-in Centre is all about providing a safe place for local youth to get together, and just hang out.

Now organizers with CrossTrainers Ministries are stepping it up a notch, hosting a night of competitive games and activities on Saturday, April 6, called Hub-O-Rama.

From 6-9 p.m., kids between the ages of 11 and 18 will be challenged to play the games regularly available at The Hub – pool, foosball, Mario Cart, golf (a card game), and ping-pong – but this time they’ll be vying to win tickets for prizes in round-robin tournament action.

The prizes for Hub-O-Rama will be purchased with a generous donation from Successful Women Always Networking (SWAN), and the kids will also enjoy free pizza, provided by Drive True Automotive.

The goal is to get kids engaged – and have fun.

The Hub Youth Drop-in Centre is located in the old St. Mary’s Building, at 31 Frederick St. in Bradford West Gwillimbury. Programs offered during the week and on weekends include a Supper Club on Monday evenings from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., leadership programs, and drop-in nights on Fridays and Saturdays.
