Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire and Emergency Services were called to a reported structure fire on Luxury Avenue in Bradford, at approximately 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Upon arrival, fire crews made a quick entry into the home and rescued two occupants, who were both transported to a local hospital for medical assessment, according to a news release.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire at the source and are currently conducting overhaul operations before handing over for a formal investigation.
Luxury Avenue will remain closed at Maplegrove Avenue until emergency responders clear the scene.
