Muslim Women's Association donate to Fill a Purse for a Sister campaign

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Women's Association is an auxiliary of the Ahamddiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada for women aged 15+. The purpose of this organization is to encourage women to increase their secular and religious knowledge and to be leaders and role models for the coming generation on how to achieve the true purpose of life. One of the most essential parts of achieving this purpose is by doing service for humanity. The Ahmadiyya Muslim women’s association strives to help others in their community.

We believe that when a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them.

Islam emphasizes the act of taking care of our neighbours, thus as last year, Ahmadiyya Muslim women’s association took part in the fill a purse campaign. This year approximately 37 bags were filled with feminine hygiene products, tissues, hand sanitizers, scarves, gloves etc.

Belonging to the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, our motto is ‘Love for all hatred for none'. We have always seen our community ready to offer their help or give back to the communities we reside in.

In December our goal is to increase our efforts further to make the holidays happier for our community members and end 2021 in a positive way. I hope that even a bit of our efforts made someone smile, and encouraged people to help others in need.
