Simcoe County Museum is pleased to bring back Summer Sundays, running each Sunday from July 7 to Aug. 25. The program has an exciting lineup of activities, perfect for a family staycation.

  • July 7 and Aug. 4 – A Natural Experience: Enjoy the summer out in nature for a guided nature walk, and take time to create a souvenir made from nature itself
  • July 14 and Aug. 11 – Summer Sundaes Social: The name says it all – we supply the delicious hand-churned ice cream and you create your own signature sundae to enjoy
  • July 21 and Aug. 18 – Victorian Tea Party: It’s tea time! Put on your best dress and join us for a traditional Victorian Cream Tea style party! Tea will be served on the hour from 1-3 p.m. with Victorian parlour games to follow
  • July 28 and Aug. 25 – School’s in for Summer: Step back in time, as your enter into the school house for a classic pioneer lesson. Play some pioneer recess games outside the school house after each lesson
