Promise Church Bradford is encouraging everyone to shop local this Christmas with their new contest, 'Shop Bradford'.
Promise Church offers grant money to those interested in improving the community, and thought this would be a good idea to help local businesses.
"A few of us were thinking about how we could help some of the awesome businesses (owners and staff) during this holiday season because we all know they have really taken a hit during Covid," explained Valerie Good, leader of the grant program. "We thought 'what’s the best way to encourage people to switch their holiday spending budgets to help local small business? Prize money!' So, the prizes will also be gift cards for a local small business, again to ensure a strong Bradford economy."
From Dec. 1 - 31, anyone who makes a purchase of at least $50 at any local merchant, will have a chance to win a gift card from a small business of their choice.
1st prize will receive $200 in gift cards
2nd prize will receive $150 in gift cards
3rd prize will receive $100 in gift cards
All you need to do is submit your receipt as proof of purchase to [email protected]. Multiple entries are encouraged, and combined receipts from multiple vendors will be accepted.
Businesses can be store front business and/or home-based businesses (with an address provided).
