STOUFFVILLE – The Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre is hosting a virtual holiday auction this year to continue to raise funds for local animals in need during COVID-19.

The online auction will take place on the Provincial Education & Animals Centre’s Holiday online auction Facebook event page. The auction will open on Monday, Nov. 30 at 8 a.m. and close on Friday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m.

With Giving Tuesday – a global movement for giving to bring about change in communities – now  is a great time to take part in an event that helps animals in need. With some exciting auction categories, such as food and drink, including wine glass sets, as well as local honey and food items, to self-care items, including beauty treatments, juice cleanses and salon products, this silent auction is sure to have something for everyone.

With the holidays right around the corner, why not bid on gift ideas? With gift cards, a family photoshoot, gifts for pets and pet lovers, fun items for kids, and jewelry, there’s sure to be the perfect gift for everyone on your holiday shopping list.

The animal centre will connect with each successful bidder following the event to book a safe and convenient time to pick up their items. Proceeds from the event support animals in the community.

“We are excited to be able to hold this event and bring some holiday cheer to our community virtually,” says Elizabeth Westover, Manager, Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre. “This event is a great opportunity to support animals in need, while having a great time and maybe even finding the perfect holiday gift for that special someone on your list.”

The holiday buzz has already begun so don’t forget follow @OSPCAPEAC on Facebook to join the fun!
