If you are driving around Bradford West Gwillimbury this weekend, watch out for these road closures for the Royal Canadian Legion’s Remembrance Day parade.
The route will close local roads between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4:
- Holland Street, from Toronto Street to Bingham Street
- Bingham Street, from Holland Street to Back Street
- Back Street, from Bingham Street to the Bradford legion at 115 Back St.
A wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the cenotaph, followed by a lunch in the legion hall, after the parade.
There are also two other Remembrance Day events in BWG this year — a dinner at the legion Nov. 10, and a ceremony at the cenotaph Nov. 11.
