Bradford United Church hosted a Roast Beef Dinner earlier this month, serving up generous portions to church and community members who came out to enjoy a meal, and support the church and its charities.
Church suppers have long been an important part of Bradford West Gwillimbury - part of the fabric that holds the community together. They are fundraisers, but so much more: an opportunity to connect with neighbours, and share a meal.

Roast Beef Dinner. Trinity Anglican Church, located at 62 Church St. in Bradford, April 26, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Enjoy roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas, carrots, turnips, coleslaw, dessert and tea, coffee or juice for $20 for adults, $10 for kids 10 and under. Gilford United Church in Innisfil is hosting a Roast Beef Supper on Wed., May 1, with two sittings – at 5 p.m. and a 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $6 for kids under 12.
