ROYAL VICTORIA REGIONAL HEALTH CENTRE

Senior patients at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) have received a generous boost from the Lefroy/Belle Ewart Royal Canadian Legion Branch 547 who recently donated $10,000 in support of patient care.
The funds were generated from last year’s annual poppy campaign.
“It was important for us to ensure the poppy funds went towards an area that would have an impact on seniors in our community,” says Mark Southcott, Legion Branch 547 president. “RVH provides care for many members of our community including our veterans and we are happy to provide support to our regional health centre.”
Each year, Legions across Canada run the poppy campaign to commemorate and celebrate veterans. Donations collected during the Poppy Campaign are directed to support veterans and their families within their communities
“We are incredibly grateful for this generous donation from Royal Canadian Legion Branch 547,” says Eric Dean, CEO RVH Foundation. “We look forward to enhancing care for our patients with their support.”
