STEVENSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

NEW TECUMSETH – The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) kicked off a four month 50/50 draw series on Nov. 1, 2020 in support of the Hospital’s redevelopment. SMHF is pleased to announce the December draw’s winning jackpot was $3,120. Congratulations to Shelly Lake, the lucky winner!
We are so pleased to share that Shelly won the 50/50 prize, and is a dedicated team member of the New Tecumseth Optometry Clinic, who is a long-time supporter of Stevenson and the redevelopment campaign. Thank you to Shelly and the New Tecumseth Optometry Clinic staff team for participating in the SMHF 50/50 Draw. The draw is a fun and accessible way for everyone in the community to be able to take part in supporting the Hospital’s Capital Campaign, Because of you, we can.
The draws take place each month until February 2021. Each draw starts on the first day of the month, with ticket sales closing the last Thursday of each month. Tickets are 5 for $10, 20 for $20 or 100 for $40. The winner is guaranteed to win a minimum of $1,000. To date, the winners of the SMHF 50/50 draw series have received $7,545 in cash prizes, don’t hesitate get your tickets today!
This is the largest and most significant campaign in the Foundation’s history to date, and the need for the community’s support could not be more critical. Of the total $43 million goal, $30 million represents the community share of the funds required to be raised for the $167 million project. The redevelopment project includes a revitalized Emergency Department, doubling the square footage of the Hospital and tripling the amount of parking space. Refreshed outpatient rooms, birthing suites and laboratory space are also included in the plans.

The next draw will be held on Jan. 29, 2021, and the future draw date is set for Feb. 26, 2021. Winning ticket numbers will be posted on the website as well as the SMH Foundation’s social media channels.
