South Simcoe Police looking for help to identify 'vulnerable person' (update: home safe)

Shortly before 11 p.m., the South Simcoe Police Service released a statement that the man has been identified and is home safe.

Innisfil, Ont. -  South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for the public's help to identify a vulnerable person. On Wednesday, June 12, 2019, around 7:30 p.m., a man was located at The Spoke Community Centre within Sandy Cove Acres in the 25th Sideroad and Lockhart Road area of Innisfil.

The man may go by the name 'Jim.'

He is described as:

  • 5-foot-5
  • 200 pounds
  • brown, short hair
  • prescription sunglasses that adjust to sunlight
  • white running shoes
  • only has a few teeth
  • has in his possession two wrestling dvds
  • wearing a green golf shirt with 'Turtle Reef Club'
  • Hutchinson Island Florida black track pants
