ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

The St. John Ambulance flag raising and proclamation will take place on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. – Barrie City Hall, 70 Collier St.

Please join the Mayor and several St. John Ambulance volunteers in raising our flag to celebrate St. John Week and over 75 years of community service and First Aid/CPR training by the Barrie Simcoe Muskoka branch.

Barrie Simcoe Muskoka 2017 highlights at a glance:

  • 19,366 hours of volunteer service;
  • six community service units working in the community;two Medical First Responder Units, two Therapy Dog Units, one Car Seat Unit, one Youth Unit;
  • 127 patients assisted by a Medical First Responder;
  • 3,440 clients visited by a therapy dog;
  • 717 hours of service toward the development of youth;
  • 178 parents/guardians educated on how to properly install a child’s car seat;
  • 5,525 people trained in first aid, health and safety related courses;
  • 150 people trained in CPR at no charge

Our mission is to enable Canadians to improve their health, safety and quality of life by providing training and community services (health and safety).
