If you are looking for something to do with the family this long weekend, hop over to the Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre for the annual Celebrate Easter event.
Along with activities in the gymnasium, there will be balloon twisting, face painting, crafts, colouring, cupcake decorating, and a photo booth.
“It’s a fun family event primarily for the kids,” said Nancy Shortill-Thatcher, the town’s recreation co-ordinator.
There will also be draws, where families will be given special passports they can get stamped to win a variety of prizes.
Although there are no new activities this year, Shortill-Thatcher said “everybody last year had a lot of fun with this event.”
“Just enjoy coming out and doing some family-related activities (and) celebrate Easter.”
