Trinity Anglican Church has been one busy place this summer.

Earlier this month, the Bradford church wrapped up a week-long Vacation Bible School, that saw 40 kids between the ages of 6 and 12 take over church hall and grounds, for activities, crafts and bible stories.

The Krafty Knitters craft club was busy, knitting green and orange carrot dish cloths and prayer squares to be sold at Carrot Fest, on Saturday – with all proceeds going to support the BWG Community Meal, a free meal held every Friday at nearby Bradford United Church.

Coming up on Wednesday, Aug. 21, Trinity Anglican will be hosting a Hymn Sing and Ice Cream Sundae evening, 7:30 p.m. at 62 Church St. Everyone is welcome to come out, sing favourite hymns, then enjoy ice cream with an array of toppings. Hymns can be dedicated to a loved one or thanks-giving, by donation.

Regular prayers, study groups, the Second-Hand Clothing Shop, volunteering to help out at the Bradford Lions’ Mammoth Draw night and buffet Dinner on Sept. 7, and a Steak Barbecue Dinner coming up at the church on Sept. 13 – things haven’t slowed down for the summer at Trinity Anglican.
