The 2023 Swing for Health Charity Golf Tournament will take place at Tangle Creek Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, May 30 with proceeds supporting the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie as well as Alliston's Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation and Matthews House Hospice.
“Donor support will directly support the expansion of RVH’s current site in Barrie and build a new health care centre in Innisfil,” says a release issued by the Township of Essa. “The new site will offer more advanced state-of-the-art diagnostic and personalized treatments delivered by highly trained specialists right here in our own back yards.”
Contributions will directly assist Stevenson Memorial Hospital in its revitalization with cutting-edge equipment and comfortable modern spaces for optimal patient care.
And a portion of the money raised by the event will also help Matthews House Hospice implement its new Memory and Dementia Day Clinic which is expected to begin operations in April.
