NEWS RELEASE
TOWN OF BRADFORD WEST GWILLIMBURY

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is thrilled to announce this year's Canada Day celebration on Friday, July 1.

BWG’s Canada Day celebration is one of the largest local events of the year, featuring a variety of family-friendly activities, entertainment, and performances. Join us for a fun-filled evening from 4 to 10:30 p.m. outdoors at the Bradford and District Memorial Community Centre (125 Simcoe Rd.) on Friday, July 1.

Join us on the main stage for BWG’s annual Civic Awards ceremony and for show-stopping performances by Trulee Odd (busker), Elite Dance Corps (local dance school), Bex in Motion (busker), My Favorite Headache (Rush tribute band), and Summer of 69 (Bryan Adams tribute band).

Head over to the Kids Zone, where there will be plenty of interactive activities and stations to keep children entertained all evening long, packed with fun inflatable slides, obstacle courses and games. Kids can also get a stylish (non-permanent) air-brush or glitter tattoo, and take some sweet selfies at the photo station.

The festivities wouldn’t be complete without food — the Bradford Lions will be hosting a hamburger and hotdog barbecue fundraiser, and locals Mister Treats Ice Cream Truck and Mexicanada will have delicious treats for sale throughout the event.

Make this year’s Canada Day an unforgettable experience. Bring your friends and family to the town’s celebrations, ending with our annual fireworks show.

This event is made possible with the generous support of Heritage Canada and sponsorships from local businesses: Sabari Orthodontics, Tim Hortons, Reali’s No Frills, Halibut House, Elite Dance Corps, and Bradford Rental.
