Volunteers needed to plant trees in Bradford this weekend

The event will take place May 5 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Want to plant some trees? South Simcoe Streams Network needs your help!

The organization is looking for volunteers for a Community Work Day in Bradford this Saturday.

The volunteers will help plant native trees and shrubs along Fraser Creek, just east of Home Depot as a continuing naturalization effort that began several years ago.

The event will take place May 5 from 9 a.m. to noon.

To sign up, volunteers are asked to contact Silvia Pedrazzi at [email protected] or call 705-435-1540.

Dress for the weather and for work. Shovels and instruction will be provided, but bring your own gloves and shovels if you have them.
