INNISFIL - InnServices and the Town of Innisfil are happy to report that the Stage 2 Outdoor Water Use Ban is now lifted.

The ban was in place so that the newly upgraded Innisfil Lake Simcoe Water Treatment Plant could be connected to the town’s water distribution system. The operation was completed early this morning as scheduled.

“We want to sincerely thank our residents in Innisfil and Bradford for conserving their water use so that we could smoothly complete this much-needed work.  Due to everyone’s cooperation, InnServices was able to provide adequate service throughout the operation,” said Zaheer Mohamed, Manager, Utilities Operations for InnServices. “By performing these upgrades we have expanded our capacity to provide our residents with clean, and safe drinking water for decades to come.”

While the Water Use Ban is over, residents are reminded that it’s a good idea to conserve water all year long. For water saving tips please visit the InnServices website.
