Saturday, May 14:

Pitch-In Day - Innisfil - The town-wide community clean-up event takes place this Saturday. Pick up your cleaning kit from the town office or fire stations. Event runs from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. Afterwards, there will be an appreciation BBQ held at Centennial Park from noon to 1:30 p.m. For more info, visit here

Marsh Mash - Holland Marsh - The annual Marsh Mash is back after a two-year pandemic hiatus. The route for the pro-boats will go around the entire Marsh (28km) for the first time in 35 years. For more information, visit here

Alcona Pop-up Market -2096 Thompson St., Innisfil - Seventeen vendors to shop from. Donations being accepted for Innisfil's Christmas 4 Kids, Innisfil Food Bank, and Girl Guide Cookies

South Simcoe Police Open House Event - Stop by the divisions in Innisfil and Bradford and say hello to our members, tour the stations, check out the vehicles and learn about what police do. Specialized units on display will include Traffic and Marine, Emergency Response, Forensic Identification, K9, Community Services and Auxiliary. We will also be joined by other community and first responder partners!

The event also includes a prescription pill drop-off where staff from Pharamsave Lefroy will accept and safely dispose of your unwanted and outdated medications. Naloxone kits will also be available to the public.

Plus for a $20 donation to charity, visitors can take home a K9 Nitro Plush Pup! We’ll also have other fun activities and take-home items for our young visitors.

Out of the Cold Cafe BBQ - 31 Frederick St., Bradford - An end-of-season family BBQ at Out of the Cold Cafe from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with members of council, guests, volunteer team and community supporters.
