Saturday, Nov. 26

Simcoe County Gingerbread House Contest

Innisfil ideaLAB&Library, 967 Innisfil Beach Rd.,  Alcona

10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Rotary Club of Innisfil is celebrating the creativity and talents of our local bakers and gingerbread house creators at our second annual Simcoe County Gingerbread House Contest on Nov. 26, with categories for all ages and baking experience levels.

This is the second year for the community event, which is hosted at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library in Alcona. This year’s edition will include a life-size gingerbread house created by Carol and Tim Hill, as well as an all-new bake sale and craft sale.

Prizes will be awarded for each category: kid bakers (ages six to 12), youth (ages 13 to 18), adult hobbyists, and group/team entries.

Tree Lighting Ceremony and Christmas Market

Friday Harbour will officially mark the opening of the Christmas Market with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 26. Sure to be a spectacular evening for the whole family, the event will feature live musical performances, special guests, and a surprise finale.

Innisfil Winter Craft Show

Dozens of unique and handmade vendors with thousands of cash and carry products.

The Twangsters Show

Bradford Legion, 115 Back St., Bradford

Doors open at 7 p.m., and Music at 8 p.m. 

Pure live rock n' country at the Bradford Legion. Tickets are $25 per person. Light snacks are available. 

Sunday, Nov. 27

Holiday Vendor Market

The Elden of Bradford, 3131 8th Line, Bradford

2 - 4 p.m. 

Check out local vendors at the holiday-themed market. Note masks must be worn by all visitors. 

Innisfil Santa Claus Parade

Innisfil Beach Road, Alcona

1:30 p.m. 

Parade begins at Innisfil Beach Park.

There will be an all-inclusive and barrier free SENSORY/QUIET ZONE in place from Innisfil Beach Park exit to the Fire Station on Innisfil Beach Road, so everyone can be a part of the Christmas Parade.

Parade Route will be from Innisfil Park proceeding west on Innisfil Beach Road to Jans Blvd. where it will end. Innisfil Beach Road will be closed to vehicular traffic for approximately two hours, starting at 12:30 p.m. until the last float makes its way through the spectators.

Kids, have your letters to Santa ready, we will pick them up for you along the parade route. Non-perishable food items will be collected along the parade route for the Innisfil Food Bank. Donations of new unwrapped toys are also welcome.

Puppy Yoga

Breathe Hot Yoga Studio, 95 Holland St. West,  Bradford

10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. 

Come do yoga with puppies, in support of @lostboyshope.

Breakfast with Santa

9 a.m. - Noon

Innisfil Lions Club, 982 Innisfil Beach Rd., Alcona

The Innisfil Lions Club is hosting a breakfast with Santa before the parade. For $5, you will receive three pancakes, three sausages, and your choice of orange juice, apple juice, hot chocolate, coffee or tea. Proceeds will go to the Club.
